So tons of things have happened since we last talked! I’ve had a few changes, a few disappointments, a few stressing moments and a lot of adventures. So, let us get started:
If you noticed I have changed my hair color to pink! I went to my hair stylist Melissa for the first time and she was AMAZING. If you search her on Instagram look for @hairbyfrenchie and follow her she is super great!! Next, I finally changed my nose ring to a hoop and my ears looked with the start of gauges. I’m pretty excited and happy with all this modification to my body. Not that I have to have it or need it but I wanted it and so I’m super pleased with the turn out.
The next thing that happened was my parents moved and left me in charge of the house. They retired for the winter (those snow birds) and left to renovate their new house in Florida. I got a new roommate too, it’s a friend from work and she is really nice. This is a new situation for me though, because although I’ve had roommates before in college this is a different situation. It’s interesting but so far it’s going pretty well. My boyfriend and I have already done a lot to try and clean it up and make it our space. It’s going pretty well and I’m having some stress a bit about it but I’m handling it pretty well.
A disappointment that happened was that there were two kittens up for adoption and I fell in LOVE. How can this be disappointing you ask? Because I can’t get them, due to the fact its not my house I’d bring them to. No matter how cute they are or all purrrrfect (god I’m corny) they are, I can’t have them. So thats my disappointment but they are other cats out there and they will be mine one day haha. I’m always looking for a silver lining.
I’ve started having friends over which is great. We have had a super great amount of trips, yesterday was to Misuwa a Japanese supermarket in Edgewater I highly recommend. It is super fun and has an amazing amount of yummy food!! We had a great time going and we had spent so much time there its ridiculous to the ear. Many more bigger trips are to come and I’ll bring my camera on all of the tother trips we plan on having so that way you can enjoy and join us as well.
My last thought of the day is about how distracted we all are by technology. I love it for the convenience but honestly (we were even discussing this yesterday) its a huge distraction. I struggle between wanting it and feeling the need of it. Like I want to use it too much, but I need it to stay in connection with my parents and my family and my boyfriend and my roommate. I long for the day I can find balance. Do you have opinions on this? Did you find a balance? I wanna hear from you! Comment bellow!
Until Next time,
